The exploitation of the two archaeological sites will improve the local economy due to the tourist activity, providing additional jobs both in the developed units, as well as in other local businesses, thus increasing the number of employed persons aged between 20 and 64 years (the target established for 2020 is 75%, and currently the average percentage is 66% in Romania);
Moreover, to the same extent, the adjacent economy activities that might be generated within the local communities by the results of the project will contribute to reading a different objective of the Europa 2020 strategy – Poverty and social exclusion. To this end, the results of the project would have direct effects in the rural communities Parța and Majdan and, also, in the Banat region, on both sides of the border.
